Job Description:
- The residence had major water damage in the finished basement caused by a first floor plumbing leak.
- The project consisted of the demolition and removal of the gypsum wall board basement ceiling, walls, and decorative wood trim work.
- All demolition work of the existing interiors finishes was completed on the first day of the remodeling job.
- In addition to the total replacement of the interior finishes several construction deficiencies of the existing construction were also corrected.
- The construction tasks for this project included: installing additional wood studs and wood blocking, the installation of grounded duplex outlets, the installation of (6) dimmable recessed light fixtures, and the installation of new ductwork above the HVAC supply and return registers in the finished basement ceiling.
- Finishing work consisted of: installation of gypsum wall board ceilings and walls, taping, spackling, sanding, application of (1) prime coat and (2) finish coats of high grade paint in the color selection provided by the client.
- The basement renovation was completed within the scheduled time frame that was agreed upon by the client and Fratelli Property Solutions prior to the start of the project.
